Pick your recipes
Open your cookbook or recipe history and select the dishes you plan to cook this week. There is no separate list mode — every saved recipe is already a candidate for the grocery list.
You can mix and match across cookbooks, scale serving sizes up or down before adding, and re-order what you've selected. Selections persist if you navigate away.
We merge the ingredients
Hit Generate and No Story Please reads every selected recipe, normalizes the ingredient strings, and combines duplicates. Two cups of flour from one recipe and one cup from another become a single line for three cups of flour — with unit conversions when they make sense.
Vague items ("a handful of parsley") are kept as-is rather than coerced into bad measurements. The list is meant to be useful at the store, not technically perfect.
Sorted by aisle, ready to shop
Items are grouped by where you'll find them — Produce, Dairy, Pantry, Meat & Seafood, Frozen, Other. Tap an item to check it off as you walk the aisles, or print a pocket-sized version that fits in a back pocket.
